Azuma Collection

design Lievore Altherr

The Azuma line inspired by the comforting world of the Japanese bathroom is characterised by harmoniously balanced shapes and materials: the washbasins and the bathtub evolve from a circular top part and then widen until they form a square shape on the bases, the wooden tops recall the soft shapes of large pebbles smoothed by the flow of water, the screens with vertical strips can be placed in the room as needed; made with sliding doors, they thus become theatre wings. The clothes stand is also in wood, an archetypal sign, offered in various types: indeed, it is available in a wall-mounted or free standing version or as a high backrest for chairs or valet stand, which bring to mind the ancient seats of oriental dignitaries. The Azuma line also comprises a series of different ottomans made of cork, solid geometric shapes with lines that replicate the ascending pattern of the washbasins and bathtub.
